Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms are an agreement between you and Unvera LLC. You accept them when you access the site, create an account, sign in, ask for a reading, start checkout, or otherwise use the service. If you do not agree, please do not use Jyotish Agent. For Jyotish Agent, these Terms take precedence over the general Unvera LLC website terms where the two differ.

2. What the service is

Jyotish Agent calculates Vedic astrology (Jyotish) charts from the birth details you provide, and an AI system explains those charts in the language of the tradition. Readings are traditional and cultural interpretation offered for reflection, learning and entertainment.

They are not a scientific assessment, a guarantee of future events, professional judgment, or an instruction to act. Astrology has not been scientifically validated as a way to predict events. Different classical schools, ayanamsa settings and house systems can produce different readings, and errors in birth date, time or place change the chart.

3. No professional advice

Jyotish Agent does not provide medical, mental-health, legal, financial, investment, tax, insurance, immigration, employment, relationship-counselling or other professional advice, and nothing in a reading should be relied on as such. For health, safety, legal, money or other serious matters, consult a qualified professional.

4. Sensitive topics

Some classical techniques address lifespan, illness, accidents, marriage compatibility, doshas, remedies and auspicious timing. Our Disclaimer explains the limits that apply to each of these. In particular, no reading predicts the time or manner of anyone's death, diagnoses a condition, or decides whether you should marry someone.

5. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use Jyotish Agent. An account is for one person. Keep your sign-in method secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. You can sign in with a one-time code sent to your email or with Google sign-in.

6. Your inputs and other people's data

Your birth details, questions and messages remain yours. You allow us to process, store and transmit them only as needed to run the service: calculating charts, generating readings, keeping the history you expect, handling payments and support, preventing abuse, and keeping the service reliable.

If you enter another person's birth details — a partner for compatibility, a family member, or your child — you confirm that you are allowed to share them and that you will use the result respectfully. Please do not enter information you do not need to share, such as identity numbers, passwords, payment card numbers or medical records.

7. AI-generated readings

Readings are generated by an AI model working from your calculated chart. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, inconsistent between attempts, or unsuitable for your situation, and it may occasionally say something that is simply wrong about the chart. Each reading shows which chart factors it relied on so you can check them, and you can ask follow-up questions.

You may use readings for personal, non-commercial purposes. Do not present a reading as professional advice, as a statement by us, or as our endorsement of any decision.

8. Ratings, reviews and feedback

When you submit a rating, review or feedback, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, translate and display it, including on our websites and in promotional material, in connection with the service. We may edit for length, spelling or clarity without changing the meaning, and we do not publish your email address. You may ask us to remove a published review, and we will do so promptly unless we need to keep it to deal with fraud or a legal claim.

We do not pay for reviews or reward them with credits. Suggestions you send may be used to improve the service without any obligation to you.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• scrape, bulk-download, resell or redistribute the service or its outputs, or use them to build a competing dataset or service;
• reverse engineer, overload, or interfere with the service or its security;
• evade usage limits, create accounts to collect sign-up bonuses repeatedly, or abuse payments and chargebacks;
• use the service to harass, threaten, deceive or discriminate against anyone, including using compatibility or dosha results to shame or exclude a person;
• submit unlawful content or another person's data without permission;
• use the service in violation of applicable sanctions or export laws.

10. Paid features

Some features may require payment through credits, time-limited passes or subscriptions. The price, what you receive, whether it renews, and how renewal works are shown before you pay, and you are charged only after you confirm. Payments are handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.

Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and are used only within the service. Introductory offers and bonuses carry the conditions shown with them and can end. Refunds and cancellations follow our Refund & Subscription Policy, which is part of these Terms.

If we ever close the service, we will give at least 30 days' notice and refund unused paid credits and the unused portion of prepaid subscriptions and passes.

11. Changes to the service

We may add, change or remove features, adjust free allowances, or pause the service for maintenance or security. Changes to prices apply to future purchases and renewals, and we will tell you about a price change to your subscription before it takes effect.

12. Intellectual property

Except for your inputs, Unvera LLC owns the service, software, design, interface text, tool pages and brand. Classical texts and traditional knowledge belong to everyone; our particular explanations, structure and presentation are ours. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership to you.

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account for fraud, abuse, payment misuse, security risk, unlawful use or a serious breach of these Terms. Unless we close an account for fraud, abuse or a serious breach, we will refund unused paid credits. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

14. Disclaimer of warranties

The service and all readings are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any reading is correct or will come true.

15. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unvera LLC and its members, employees and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, opportunity or goodwill, or for any loss arising from decisions you or others make in reliance on a reading. Our total liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$50.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

16. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Unvera LLC against third-party claims arising from your breach of these Terms, your unlawful use of the service, or personal data you submitted about another person without permission.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing any claim, please email [email protected] and give us 30 days to try to resolve it informally. If that fails, disputes will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court. This does not take away any consumer protection rights you have under the law where you live.

The service is offered from the United States and is not directed to users in the European Union, European Economic Area, United Kingdom or Switzerland.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. For material changes we will give reasonable notice on the site or by email before they take effect. Changes do not apply retroactively to disputes that arose before the change. If you keep using the service after the effective date, the updated Terms apply.

19. General

These Terms, together with the policies they reference, are the entire agreement between you and us about the service. If any part is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms; we may transfer them in connection with a reorganisation or sale of the business. If a translation differs from the English version, the English version controls.
