Three steps

From birth details to a reading you can question

  1. Add your birth details. The city search fills in coordinates and time zone.
  2. Your chart is calculated instantly, and the AI reads it step by step: houses, planets, dasha and transits.

FAQ

Common questions

What is a Vedic astrology chart?

A Vedic astrology (Jyotish) chart is a map of where the planets were at the moment you were born. It uses the sidereal zodiac, which is aligned to the fixed stars. It shows your Lagna, the 12 houses, the signs and nakshatras of the planets, and your dasha periods.

How is it different from a Western birth chart?

Western astrology uses the tropical zodiac, so most signs shift back by about 24 degrees in a Vedic chart. Vedic astrology also relies on nakshatras, divisional charts and dasha periods for timing.

What if I don't know my exact birth time?

Mark that you don't know the time. We use 12:00 as a placeholder only—your Lagna, houses, house lords, and most divisional charts (including Navamsa) are not knowable and should not be read as facts. The Moon sign is usually stable unless the Moon changed sign that day; the birth nakshatra can change within the same day, and pada is unreliable. Vimshottari dasha dates depend on the Moon's exact degree—an unknown time can shift periods by years or even change the starting dasha lord. Planetary signs, nakshatra envelopes, and broad dasha themes may still be discussed with those limits.

Which ayanamsa do you use?

Lahiri (Chitrapaksha) is the default, as in most Indian almanacs. You can switch to Raman or KP when you add your birth details.

Is my birth data stored?

Your profiles and reading history are saved in your own browser. Birth details are sent to our server to calculate the chart and run the reading. Reading sessions on the server expire after a period of inactivity.
